Questions about moving
How long does it take?
It depends on the size of your site and how quickly we can get access. Copying to staging is usually the quick part; most of the time goes to you checking the copy. We'll give you a timeline when we talk.
Will my site go down?
No. Your current site stays live while we copy it and while you check the staging copy. We only switch your domain once you've approved it, so visitors keep seeing your site the whole way through.
What do I need to give you?
Your website address and a way in: a WordPress admin login or your current host's control panel login. You can also install our free Orvoro migration plugin on your old site, which packages everything and sends it to us. To switch the domain we'll need access to where its DNS is managed, or we'll walk you through the change.
Is it really free?
Yes, for WordPress sites on any paid Orvoro hosting plan. There's no migration fee; you pay only for your hosting plan.
Can you move WooCommerce stores?
Yes. WooCommerce runs on WordPress, so your products, orders, customers and settings come across with your files and database. We'll agree a time for the switch with you so it suits your store.
Do I have to move my domain or email?
No. Your domain can stay registered where it is; we only point it to Orvoro. Your email can stay where it is too, and we keep its records in place when we switch. If you'd like everything in one place, we can move your domain and email as well. Email migration is free; a domain transfer is paid, at the transfer price for its extension shown in your cart.

Free migration applies to WordPress sites (including WooCommerce) moving to a paid Orvoro hosting plan. Hosting is billed at the plan’s regular price plus applicable tax.
