This policy explains when purchases are refundable. It is incorporated into the Terms of Service. Processing fees are disclosed before purchase, and nothing in this policy overrides mandatory consumer, card-network, registry, or registrar rights.
1. 30-day money-back guarantee
Hosting, business email, and email-marketing plans, and add-ons to them, carry a 30-day money-back guarantee from the date of purchase. This applies to monthly, annual, and multi-year terms. If you cancel within 30 days of purchase, we refund that charge in full. Renewals carry the same 30-day refund window from the renewal date. After 30 days, the current term is non-refundable, but you can cancel at any time to stop future renewals. Domains are excluded; see section 2.
2. Domains
Domain registrations are non-refundable once submitted to the registry, except where the registry, registrar, CIRA, or applicable law requires or provides a refund. If a domain registration fails before it is successfully registered, the registration charge is refunded. A .ca renewal remains refundable where CIRA's then-current Auto-Renew Grace Period rules require deletion and pass-through of a refund.
3. One-time services (including malware cleanup)
One-time services, such as malware cleanup, carry the same 30-day money-back guarantee from the date of purchase, but only while the work has not been performed. Once the cleanup or other service work has been done, it is non-refundable.
4. How refunds are handled
Approved refunds are ordinarily initiated within one to five business days and returned to the original payment method where possible. Fraud, abuse, chargebacks, and material policy violations may eliminate discretionary refund rights.
5. Cancellation
You may cancel online at any time. Cancellation stops the next renewal while your service continues until the end of the paid term. Deletion of your data is a separate action from cancellation.
