This Privacy Policy explains how Orvoro Marketing Inc. collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information in connection with our web hosting, domain, business email, and email-marketing services. We handle personal information in accordance with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial and U.S. state privacy laws.
1. What we collect
Depending on how you use the Services, we collect: account and contact details (name, email, address, phone); billing information (processed by our payment provider — we do not store full card numbers); service and usage data; support communications; and security logs.
2. Why we collect it
We use personal information to provide and administer the Services, process payments, prevent fraud and abuse, secure the platform, comply with legal obligations, and — where you have given consent or we have another lawful basis — to send you marketing communications. We collect only what is reasonably necessary for these identified purposes.
3. Consent
Where consent is the basis for processing, we obtain meaningful consent and use stronger consent for sensitive information. You may withdraw consent, subject to legal and contractual limits, and we will stop the affected processing.
4. Disclosure and service providers
We share personal information with service providers who process it on our behalf (for example, infrastructure hosting, email delivery, and payments) under contracts that require comparable protection. Our current subprocessors are listed in our Subprocessor List. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use customer content to train generalized third-party AI models without authorization.
5. Retention
We retain personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described here or as required by law, then delete or de-identify it. Categories such as invoices and legal acceptance records are retained for the periods required by law.
6. Your rights
Subject to verification of your identity, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information; information about our use and disclosure; portability where applicable; and withdrawal of consent. You may also make a privacy complaint. We respond to access requests within the timelines required by law (generally 30 days under PIPEDA). To exercise a right, contact privacy@orvoro.com.
7. Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and multi-factor authentication for administrative access.
