Steps
- Go to Websites → [site] → Databases (or your hosting package's Databases page).
- Here you can see the databases attached to your site and manage them.
- Use the provided database tools to inspect tables or run maintenance. Your app (e.g. WordPress) connects to its database automatically.

- Back up your site (which includes the database) before making manual changes — see Back up and restore your website.
- Database connection details for apps are managed for you during install.
Troubleshooting
- "Error establishing a database connection" — usually a plugin or config issue; restore a recent backup or check recent changes.
- Database growing large — review logs/transients; consider a cleanup plugin.
